Dunedin, Fla. -- The City of Dunedin will be holding its Mardi Gras Parade and Festival Tuesday, Feb. 21.
It is called a true family event. Music begins at Pioneer Park at 5 p.m. and continues until the parade ends.
The parade runs along Douglas Avenue from Knology Park, passing through Main Street and in front of Pioneer Park, ending just before Skinner Blvd.
It's set to last about an hour with more than 50 floats and bead tossing. The party continues until 11 p.m. and spills over into local pubs and restaurants until closing time.
The event is free. Drinks, food, and souvenirs will be available for purchase.
