Dunedin, Florida -- Pinellas County deputies have arrested the man who crashed into a Dunedin barber shop Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies say 41-year-old Carey Hickman was speeding in his 2003 Ford F-150 pickup as he headed east on Beltrees Street around 5:40 p.m. He continued across Patricia Avenue, into the parking lot of the Dunedin Lanes bowling alley and then crossed Cedarwood Street.
He apparently only stopped because the barber shop was in his way.
No one was inside the barber shop at the time of the crash, but the owner of the shop, David Brummitt witnessed the crash as he stood outside. He sent 10 News pictures of the crash just after it happened.
