Films in the Park features "Horror of Dracula" Friday | Entertainment

Dunedin, Florida -- This week's Films in the Park feature is 1958's "Horror of Dracula".

The film starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee and Michael Gough is based on the Bram Stoker novel and was directed by Terence Fisher.

The movie tells the tale of Jonathan Harker who tries to destroy Dracula but gets turned into a vampire instead. When Dracula becomes interested in Harker's fiancée, Harker asks for the help of his colleague, Dr. Van Helsing (played by Cushing), to protect her and her family.

Films in the Park is held every Friday in October at Pioneer Park at 7:30 p.m.
